International airport “Boryspil” plans from 24 December to 4 January to introduce a limit on the arrival of the cargo at the cargo terminal in connection with large seasonal volumes of air cargo.

This was reported by the press service of the airport.

“International airport “Boryspil” in connection with large seasonal volumes of air cargo introduces a time limit of arrival of import cargo at cargo terminal for cargo and passenger aircrafts from December 24, 2018 to January 4th 2019″, – stated in the message.

It is noted that the need for temporary restriction of import of the goods occurred due to a sharp increase in air cargo over the past two weeks. “This situation due to insufficient technical and human resources for timely processing of goods in the winter. The airport has stopped accepting import cargoes to remedy the situation and provide measures for handling the existing volume of imports. Export and transit cargo will be processed and sent without restrictions,” – said the press service.
